Frontend Interaction Developer in Basel

ABOUT US  Hinderling Volkart creates outstanding web experiences, corporate platforms and digital products. We are #1 in the all-time Best of Swiss Web ranking. Inspired design makes the difference and smart implementation drives  ustainability. We have recently opened HV Italic in Basel to craft digital branding and web experiences for exciting new customers and own digital products.

Interaction development is at the heart of our process. It is all about the user experience. You build the modules, their interaction with the user. You decide how it feels, moves and dances. Engineering design into pieces of code. We work hard to do it on the highest level. Reusable, modular, innovative. Our frontend leverages a state-of-the-art technology stack to build fluid experiences for our users. You will be responsible to produce user interfaces for complex digital products and responsive websites. You will work with a great team.

You can bend the HTML you get, but are ready to produce the markup you want. You can work with twig, have a favorite shell and collaborate via git. You like modern css, sass and javascript. Maybe you even know some js frameworks. You love to do quick prototypes, but also like to deploy production ready frontend code. You can talk to people, browsers and machines. Design, layout and typography are your main tools, but you care about interaction, animation and ux too. We use Sketch, CraftCMS, plus our own tools to enable an agile and fast workflow. You feel comfortable working with small cross-functional teams. We aim to learn from each other, and enjoy a relaxed yet ambitious work environment.

BENEFITS  At HV Italic we want to provide a work environment that contributes to your happiness and personal growth. We have fantastic coffee and offices at central locations in Basel, Zurich and Bern. Your home base will be Basel, but you can work everywhere. You can work part- or full-time. You can speak any language and you will choose your own chair.
