An era comes to an end: Freshjobs.ch says thank you and bids farewell after 15 years

Dear Freshjobs community, dear customers and job seekers

After many successful years, we have decided to discontinue Freshjobs.

An abstract sunset seemed like a good way to capture the mood.

Since the launch of Freshjobs.ch, it has been a great pleasure and a real passion for us to build something of our own alongside our client projects at required.com, both in terms of the brand and the technology. The fact that we were able to connect companies and job seekers from “our” industry was the icing on the cake.

We are incredibly grateful for the trust that has been placed in us over the years and would like to thank each and every one of you for the feedback, support, and enthusiasm that made Freshjobs.ch what it was.

There are many reasons for this decision. Over the last two to three years, our agency business has grown steadily and we have been able to support many exciting customer projects. As a result, our capacities were and are heavily utilized. That is why we are consistently focusing on our customer projects and pooling our resources there.

As we lacked the time to further develop Freshjobs, marketing also increasingly fell by the wayside. As a result, both the number of advertisements and visitor numbers declined. At the same time, the job market has changed significantly. Because we can no longer give the platform the attention it needs, we have decided with a heavy heart to discontinue it.

We look back on a time full of exciting encounters and successful placements and would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your loyalty.

Every company and every applicant has contributed to making Freshjobs.ch a place of encounter, whether digitally or at the various conferences we have attended as sponsors and participants.

What happens next:

To ensure a smooth transition, we have set the following dates:

  • Thursday, March 26: It will no longer be possible to post new job ads on Freshjobs.ch. Existing ads will remain online until their regular expiration date, but without the option of renewal.
  • Thursday, May 28: The login area for corporate customers will be deactivated. We ask all companies that still need invoices or other important data to download them by this date. After that, access will no longer be possible.
  • Friday, May 29: Freshjobs.ch will be converted into a static website. All previous job search and posting functions will be disabled. Until further notice, the site will only serve as an archive for magazine articles.

If you have any questions about the upcoming changes or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at team@freshjobs.ch or team@required.ch.

Once again, thank you very much for everything! We wish you all the best for the future.

Best regards and see you soon. It was great to have you here!
